Pulse HD Audio Player

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

The short version

StumpCo Labs does not collect, store, or sell any personal data. Your music stays on your device. Pulse HD only talks to outside services when you use a feature that needs them, such as lyrics, Last.fm, or your own music server, and only to make that feature work.

Who we are

Pulse HD Audio Player is developed and published by StumpCo Labs. If you have any questions about this policy, you can reach us at support@stumpcolabs.com.

What data we collect

Pulse HD does not collect any personal data. Specifically:

How the app uses your device

Pulse HD requests the following permissions to function:

Your music files and the data accessed through these permissions are not transmitted off your device, except as described under Third party services.

Data storage

All app settings, including your equalizer profiles, visualizer configurations, playlists, favorites, listening statistics, and skin preferences, are stored locally on your device using Android's standard storage. This data is not sent to StumpCo Labs and is removed when you uninstall the app.

If you sign in to Last.fm, Pulse HD stores a Last.fm session key on your device so you stay signed in. Your Last.fm password is never stored. If you connect a music server, its address and your sign-in details are stored on your device so the app can connect to it.

Third party services

Pulse HD contains no advertising, analytics, or tracking tools, and StumpCo Labs does not receive your data. Some optional features connect to outside services, and only when you use them:

Children's privacy

Pulse HD is not directed at children under 13, and StumpCo Labs does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

How to delete your data

StumpCo Labs does not store your data on our servers, so everything can be removed by you directly:

Changes to this policy

If we ever change this privacy policy (for example, if we add new features that require new permissions), we will update this page and change the date at the top. We will never introduce data collection without clearly communicating it and updating this policy first.

Your rights

Because StumpCo Labs does not collect personal data, we hold nothing to access, correct, or delete. Data stored in the app can be removed at any time by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling it. To remove data shared with Last.fm, use your Last.fm account settings. If you have questions or concerns, please contact us and we will respond promptly.
